PLANT A TREE, SAVE A BIRD

Bicknell's Thrush

Our focus is saving the endangered Bicknell's Thrush, however, many migratory bird species call Hispaniola home for winter. We focus on the Haitian side of the island where years of deforestation has created a stressful environment for these birds. The deforestation in Haiti will take 20 years or more to reforest, and in that time, we hope the Bicknell’s Thrush and other endangered migratory birds will be able to repopulate and increase numbers.
